Educational Background: Graduate of Lake Highland High School-Dallas. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas WOman's University-Denton, Texas in 1985. I earned a Masters Degree in Library Science from TWU in 1989.
Work History: I volunteered at my daughter's elementary school for 2 years, mostly working in the library, and knew from that time where I was destined to be. I got my degree and began teaching as a 3rd grade teacher in Whitesboro, Texas, while working on my library of Science degree. After earning my LS degree I became the District Librarian for Savoy ISD for 10 years. I have been the District Librarian for Trenton ISD since 2011-2012.

Extra Information:I love being a librarian, not only because I love reading (which I do with a passion); but because it is a thrill to introduce new books to students and they return asking for more!! My family in very important to me, and while I was blessed with only one child, I have 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grand children. (They keep me too busy to do much else but enjoy life)
