Mr. Rick Largent, Principal
Entering his 46th year in education, Mr. Largent is beginning his tenth year as Middle School principal in Trenton ISD. Mr. Largent enjoys watching reruns of "King of the Hill", "Andy Griffith" and "Seinfeld", collecting baseball cards and working in the yard.
Mr. Largent taught high school English and coached football and baseball at various places for 34 years including stops at Dallas, Ferris, Mesquite, Community, Rusk and Garland. He spent 11 of those 34 years coaching and teaching at Naaman Forest High School in Garland where he was the school's first Head Baseball coach. Two years prior to coming to Trenton, Mr. Largent was a counselor at Seagoville Middle School in Dallas.
Mr. Largent has been married for 44 years to his wife Priscilla. They have one son, Stacy, who is currently assistant football and Head Baseball coach at Carrollton Creekview HS. Mr. Largent has one grandson, Gunner, who is 6 years old.
