Biography: "I'm originally from Garland, Texas. I've been living in and teaching in Trenton for the last 8 years. This is my 18th year as a teacher. I've taught in Dallas, Garland, and Richardson." Mrs. Hunter's hobbies include: reading, gardening, and playing pool. Duties Currently Performing: Elementary Special Education, Dyslexia services, and English as a Second Language services Schools Attended: North Garland High School and East Texas State University Classroom Expectations: "I expect my students to be responsible, be respectful, be cooperative, be on task and do their best." Message For Community: "All children can learn with appropriate instruction." Reason for Becoming a Teacher: "I began my college career training to be a Band Director, but I discovered I liked working with younger children. So, I became an elementary teacher with a Music Specialization. I obtained Special Education Certification while teaching in Garland." |
