| Work History- I taught my first year at Savoy I.S.D. and since then have taught here at Trenton for the past 32 years. |
| Current Duties- I teach 1st grade in a self-contained classroom. Last year I completed a year of training in Reading Recovery. I am a Reading Recovery Instructor in addition to my regular classroom duties |
| Reason For Becoming A Teacher- I love the challenge and continuing professional growth that education brings to me. Each new year and classroom of students requires different teaching strategies and techniques. It is never boring! |
| Personal Goals- My goal as a teacher of young children is to help my students gain confidence in themselves and what they can achieve. They need a good foundation on which to build all their many years of learning and school work. |
| Classroom Expectations- I expect my students to do their best work; listen and follow directions; and treat others like they want to be treated. |
| Message To Parents- Educating our children is a team effort. It takes school, home, church, and community all working together to mold our youth into leaders of tomorrow. |
